Equestrian Legends Redux is a reboot of a popular MLPFIM roleplaying forum. We offer an extremely detailed sandbox world, a low minimum wordcount of 100, and a rapidly moving, far reaching plot. While you are just as welcome to play slice of life threads here, and they are encouraged between plot events, please know that Redux is very story driven, and considerably darker than the show.
Weather: Warm and sunny, but with a peculiar sort of silence to the air Date: September Tenth, 5150 Current Events: The Grand Galloping Gala Description: This biannual event was always intended to be one of celebration and delight, even if politics and stodginess did often get in the way. But this year, there is no doubt that the very nature of the Gala has been irrevocably altered. Begun by Princess Celestia after her Sister's banishment, now the Gala is being continued by Princess Luna after Celestia's death. This site appears best in Chrome, Firefox and Opera browsers.

Crystal Mountains This wonderful and beautiful land is the historic home of the Crystal Ponies. Literally made of gems and crystals, the empire is a glowing beacon of the north and is protected from the cold and outside forces by the magic the Crystal Heart and is very welcoming to outsiders. Though it's said that you tend to sparkle for a while if you get too close to the Crystal Heart itself.
Cloudsdale Cloudsdale is the city of the Pegasi, a fantastical place composed of snowy white, cottony soft clouds and gleaming rainbows. The architecture favors patterned columns and arches, nearly all of it in minimalistic white. This is where the Weather Factory that produces all of the weather for Equestria is located. Cloudsdale is, in general, north of Ponyville and west of Canterlot. It doesn't have a totally fixed location, and instead tends to float high above the Great Nimbusgait Lakes, which provides all of the moisture the Pegasi need for their work.
Galloping Gorge A small, barren valley about halfway between Vanhoover and the Crystal Mountains, Galloping Gorge is considered mostly unremarkable. The only reason anypony even goes there is to take advantage of the mostly flat terrain for a good gallop (hence the name) and for some unofficial races. However, it should be noted that a sizable Diamond Dog pack also lives in this area, indicating that there may be a source of gems here as well.
Neighagara Falls Equestria's largest natural waterfall and a popular tourists attraction, Neighgra Falls is a site to behold. In addition to being a popular place to visit, it also it's fair share of explorers; as the heavily forested hills around here are relatively unexplored and are said to hold a few secrets of their own.
