The war in Pundani is over, and Light has become, at long, long last, victorious over Dark. The continent may never recover from having lost two or every three beings living in it, but at least it will have the opportunity to try.

This victory comes at a cost, though, and a significant one at that. Many warriors died the name of protecting the Light, and their bodies and stories are to be shown and celebrated at this year's Grand Galloping Gala. Not least among them will be the memorial of Celestia, Sun Princess of Equestria and Gaia, who died in the final moments of the fight.

Equestrian Legends is shutting down. Please read more about this decision here.

Equestrian Legends Redux is a reboot of a popular MLPFIM roleplaying forum. We offer an extremely detailed sandbox world, a low minimum wordcount of 100, and a rapidly moving, far reaching plot. While you are just as welcome to play slice of life threads here, and they are encouraged between plot events, please know that Redux is very story driven, and considerably darker than the show.

Weather: Warm and sunny, but with a peculiar sort of silence to the air
Date: September Tenth, 5150
Current Events: The Grand Galloping Gala
Description: This biannual event was always intended to be one of celebration and delight, even if politics and stodginess did often get in the way. But this year, there is no doubt that the very nature of the Gala has been irrevocably altered. Begun by Princess Celestia after her Sister's banishment, now the Gala is being continued by Princess Luna after Celestia's death.

Conflict Resolution

If you have been directed to this thread, you were likely the participant in an argument in the cbox at the bottom of the site. The content of your argument, whatever it was led you to feel that you require outside mediation in the decision making process.

You can voluntarily participate in the conflict resolution system at any time. However, receiveing a cbox ban as a result of an argument requires that you use this system to solve the problem.

Each participant in the argument needs to send a PM to Vergess as soon as possible. The PM will be the only information that will be used in judging the issue, and so you should include as much detail as you can regarding:
* What the fight was about
* The resolution that you, the individual writing the PM, would find most beneficial
* The resolution that you, the individual writing the PM, would find the problematic
* Any details you think Vergess needs to know.

It is possible that you will be contacted individually after the PMs are submitted for additional information by Vergess. However, any information not presented in the original PMs or explicitly requested outside them will not be used to make the verdict.

All players will abide by the verdict, regardless of what it contains. If you have progressed far enough that you require the resolution system, you have lost the priviledge of getting to solve the problem yourself as individual players and the matter has become one of Site Maintenance, thus subject to administrative rule in its entirety.

Again, you can volunteer for the resolution system at any time.

You can also be forced into the resolution system by:
* Receiving a cbox ban for arguing
* Two or more complaints from uninvolved members reach Vergess within 48 hours of eachother.
* Being the second (or third, dourth, etc) party of argument wherein the first party has elected to undergo voluntary resolution.

Continuing to argue about a problem that is currently in the resolution system or has been ruled on already will result in a 24 hour cbox ban and 72 hour posting ban. Continuing even after these initial bans is ground for a 15 day ban form all site resources. Insisting upon continuing even then is grounds for a permanent ban.
