Equestrian Legends Redux is a reboot of a popular MLPFIM roleplaying forum. We offer an extremely detailed sandbox world, a low minimum wordcount of 100, and a rapidly moving, far reaching plot. While you are just as welcome to play slice of life threads here, and they are encouraged between plot events, please know that Redux is very story driven, and considerably darker than the show.
Weather: Warm and sunny, but with a peculiar sort of silence to the air Date: September Tenth, 5150 Current Events: The Grand Galloping Gala Description: This biannual event was always intended to be one of celebration and delight, even if politics and stodginess did often get in the way. But this year, there is no doubt that the very nature of the Gala has been irrevocably altered. Begun by Princess Celestia after her Sister's banishment, now the Gala is being continued by Princess Luna after Celestia's death. This site appears best in Chrome, Firefox and Opera browsers.

The Badlands South of the San Palomino desert lies the ancient home of the dragons. Extinct volcanoes, craggy plateaus and deep carved canyons dominate the dry landscape. Fortunately, gemstones are abundant, though for that matter so are Diamond Dogs. And, of course, the might and ancient dragons of Gaia migrate here every few years for enclaves.
Pundani Southeast of the Equestrian continent, some week's flight of ocean away, lies the land of Pundani. Most well known for it's Zebra natives, it also hosts a number of far less well known populations, such as the heavily isolationist Giraffes and the rather predatory Sphinxes, close cousins to the gryphons of the east.
Asteria Located on a small subcontinental shelf on the northeast of the Pundani continent, Asteria is the native home of the bovines and ovines of Gaia. Though it is ostensibly a unified empire, it is even more minutely divvied up than the states of Aquiline, and the enclave of sheikhs which hold court beneath the Emperor are nearly never able to reach even the most basic agreement. Once, a very, very long time ago the small but quite rich territory of Saddle Arabia was an Equestrian department, though in time it has come to fall under the Asterian banner as well, for all that the Caliphate keeps only it's own advisement, and is effectively an independent micronation.

Aquiline A comparatively small nation in the north of the Mane-Jise continent, Aquiline is the home of the Gryphons, and their territorial habits have led to a number of extremely distinct regions within the nation, to the point that they speak several very unique languages. Constant cultural exchange with Equestria, however, means that their nation is fairly popular with and accessible to pony tourists, and indeed large numbers of ponies make their homes in the variegated lands of Germaneigh and Itaily under the Gryphon Kings' banners.

Mane-Ji The much larger southern region of the Mane-Jise continent is home to a variety of exotic looking dragons, along with pony-dragon hybrids known as Kirin or Qilin, depending on the locale, and a unique offshoot of Diamond Dogs known as the Inukami, very talented is limited in scope mages. For all this variety, however, the land is sparsely populated and fairly unexplored.
